This page explains how to have your data deleted from Oberth, and what is deleted or kept when you do.
Send an email to ysf.ing.ysf@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my data”, including:
Oberth has no accounts and no sign-in, so a display name and rough date are the only way to locate an entry. Without them a specific entry cannot be identified.
Requests are actioned within 30 days. You will receive a reply confirming the deletion.
Everything associated with your leaderboard entry:
| Data | Deleted |
|---|---|
| Display name | Yes — removed entirely |
| Level completion times submitted online | Yes — removed entirely |
| Anonymous ID (random Firebase identifier) | Yes — removed entirely |
Once deleted, this data is not retained in any form and cannot be recovered.
Nothing. Oberth holds no account, email address, phone number, payment details, location or advertising identifier, so there is nothing further to retain after an entry is removed.
Purchase records are held by Google Play, not by Oberth. Those are governed by Google’s privacy policy and are retained by Google for their own legal and accounting obligations.
You do not need to email anyone to remove data held on your device:
Your progress, best times and settings are stored only on your device and are never uploaded. Uninstalling removes them.
Note that this does not remove leaderboard entries already submitted — use the email process above for those.
Leaderboard submission is optional and off-able at any time:
Settings → Rankings → Submit times online
With it off, nothing leaves your device at all. The game remains fully playable and you keep every local record.
